99% of our sales come from our Etsy store. Shopify is used to fulfil orders.
We have a variety of print-on-demand products and some require more work than others to fulfill. Personalized canvases are our best-sellers, but they take a bit of time and skill to complete.
I will provide all templates, tools and know-how and will be available to help for as long as needed. I keep saying we but this has been a one-man job for the whole 6 years. It takes me about 1 hour a day to answer emails from customers and fulfil orders.
Then I spend 1-3 hours on designs for new orders.
Customers
Customers come through search and ads. We spend $20/day on ads which are very profitable. This budget can be increased to up to $500 a day at the moment. We also have a lot of returning customers who buy our products as gifts for multiple people and for multiple occasions.
Financials
Thanks to our focus on birthdays, weddings and anniversaries sales throughout the year are very steady with the Christmas season being definitely the most profitable.
Additional Notes
It's important to understand this is not a passive income. I have done a very bad job at automating at least parts of the business, so there is a lot of manual work involved. I also never explored adding more people to the team.
Since I do everything myself I have to keep the advertising budget small to be able to handle the amount of orders. It's also been 5 years since I introduced a new product.
We have over 20.000 customers who will get notified when a new product is added.
The fulfillment partners we use offer many great print-on-demand products which I know our customers would love.
Personalized jigsaw puzzles, anniversary plates, blankets, pillows....just a few examples which I think would work perfectly but I never got around to adding them.
