A Personal Note –
I have been in the Party rental business for 37 years. Early on a man in the industry told me that it was a good business to be in, that when people were happy and the economy was good, they wanted to party and celebrate. When the economy was bad and they were sad, they wanted to party; it lifts the spirits. When I first got into it, the area had a lot of competition and prices were tight. Today, while there are smaller concerns dabbling in the rental market, there are only two able to handle the big jobs. Our firm has more inventory and know how than anyone else in the service area. If you are willing to grow the inventory, you will grow the business. Running a party rental business is not a cushion job; It has taken hard work but the rewards have been well worth the effort. Coming from a production-oriented background, I have always spent money and effort in buying any equipment that would make the job easier. I would put my crew and our methods in competition against anyone in the business. It has been a great almost 4 decades, but it is time that I retire. I appreciate your interest.
