Everything is set out to enhance the teaching and learning environment with spacious, well-lit teaching rooms and laboratories – all that is needed for a quality medical school to function well. The School has the potential to grow with further investment in facilities allowing enrolment to grow beyond current levels. There is scope for some further adjustment to timetabling to stagger attendance throughout the day and thus increase enrolment to 600 students for presencial study at the campus, plus further numbers undertaking clinical study off campus, with a commensurate increase in turnover and EBITDA.
A long-term development strategy would be to use the 99-year lease on 10.7 acres of land approved from the Government to build an enlarged Campus at an estate that is about 25 minutes distance from the city. Given that the School is highly respected, the opportunities for increases in enrolment should be relatively easy to achieve.In addition, an Education investor with other tertiary level centres could offer the medical courses to its own students.
