Hi, I'm selling my Amazon FBA business, and I wanted to explain a bit about what I've built before you reach out.
I started this store in 2021, focused on personal care products that people buy over and over no matter what's happening in the economy - think Old Spice, Dove, Chapstick, Blistex, Venus razors, Crest toothpaste, and makeup remover. I didn't pick these products randomly. I wanted a catalog built around brands people already trust and search for, so I'd never have to spend heavily on marketing to move product. That's exactly how it's played out.
Why I think this business is a strong buy
Over the years I've built up real relationships with my distributors, and I get preferential pricing because of it. That's not something you can replicate overnight - it took years of consistent ordering and relationship-building. Whoever buys this business steps right into those terms and the margins that come with them.
I run this as close to hands-off as possible. I have one staff member who handles daily operations, and everything ships through Amazon FBA - so there's no warehouse, no office, no physical location to manage. I've been running it from home, and honestly, a new owner could run it from anywhere.
Where I've left room on the table
I'll be honest about this because I think it matters: I've reinvested pretty much everything back into growing the business rather than sitting on cash reserves, which means I haven't always been able to keep every product fully stocked. If you come in with more working capital and focus on keeping the catalog consistently in stock, I genuinely believe you could grow revenue several times over. There's also room to expand into related personal care categories using the supplier relationships I've already built.
Why I'm selling
This one's personal. My daughter is starting her MBA, and I want to be able to fully fund that for her. The business itself isn't the problem - it's healthy, it's growing, and it's performing well. I just want to redirect my energy and capital toward my family right now.
What I'll do for you after the sale
I'm not interested in handing this off and disappearing. I'll give you six months of direct support after we close - introducing you to my distributor contacts, walking you through Amazon seller account management, and helping with inventory and catalog planning so you're set up to succeed from day one.
If you've got questions, I'm happy to talk them through directly.
