Once the business is sold, training of the new center owner is required. Training occurs before settlement and takes place though our corporate office in Maryland, or virtually as determined by the Franchise. The training is designed to acquaint the new owner with the skills necessary to become successful at operating this franchise. Some skills will be mastered during training and others will require follow-up by our field support people to achieve proficiency.
The training program is mandatory for all franchisees and covers pricing methods, general business procedures, use of equipment, purchasing, invoicing, credit and collections, marketing, advertising, promotion, and effective methods for selling signs and related products and services. In addition to the initial training program, which is up to 3 weeks in Maryland, we will provide an additional 5 days of on-site training TBD post settlement.
The cost for this training is included in the franchise fee. The cost for meals, lodging, and transportation are not included.
As part of the Purchase Agreement between Buyer and Seller, Seller will provide a determined amount of transition training post settlement as part of the purchase price.
