Remotely operated Phoenix-based media company serving residential listings. The two owners put in about 25 hours a month between them. A full-time Operations Manager runs the daily business, including scheduling, client communication, dispatching photographers, managing the editing vendors, checking quality, and getting media delivered the next morning. Photographers are contractors paid per shoot and editing is outsourced, so costs move with volume instead of sitting on payroll. The owners wrote SOPs for the whole process, from camera settings through delivery, and trained the team on them. Neither owner is a photographer.
Revenue is up 93% over the same period last year, orders are up 59%, and the average order is up 21%. The company has already booked more this year than it did in all of the previous year. It works with a small fraction of the agents in the Phoenix metro, has never run paid advertising, and the current team has room to take on more volume without needing to hire. For a buyer, the hard part is already done. The client base, the trained team, the vendor relationships, and the systems are in place and running, and that is what takes years to build. What is left is growth, and a new owner can put their time there from day one.
