The Company is a Specialty Trade Contractor. The company started in 2002 and has grown through multiple acquisitions over the years. The Company has grown over the years and recently scaled back as the owner became more selective on taking on projects in order to work less and as a result, profits have improved. They are heavy into roofing both Commercial and Residential plus remodeling and renovations.
The Company works throughout the year on interior and exterior work depending upon the workload. Another large division of work could be started with lawn care, snow removal, and general maintenance as they used to do this type of work on apartment complexes, hotels, restaurants, and different chains. The Company has not done that type of work in many years, but it could easily be started again. The owner also has outlets that he can turn back on for large major retail chains such as Lowes, Tractor Supply, and Applebee’s. Currently, they have chosen to stay small and keep the work particular to the areas that they want to work in. At the moment, the owner does not pursue large property management companies or commercial or industrial work as he used to do. There is great potential for growth.
Another option is that there are thousands of customers in their rolodex which could very easily
be marketed to. They no longer do this as they get more lead requests daily than they can
handle. The focus has been to just take on the more profitable and interesting jobs.
