We also purchase advertising from radio stations, broadcast TV and the main daily newspaper on open account. We have some of the very best lines available. Our lines include Marantz, Sony ES, Pioneer Elite, Parasound, Sumiko, Project, Audio-technica, AudioQuest, GoldenEar, Elac, Polk, Bowers&Wilkins, SVS and Definitive Technology. Most lines offer big discounts for in store demos, up to 50% off, and in many cases extended dating. There are also other high end audio lines available in our market. We are solicited often to add lines.
Our competition includes, of course, Best Buy and on line Amazon, and only a couple of independent retailers. Manufacturers maintain minimum advertising prices, and our reputation, installation expertise and product knowledge help us make the sale every time.
We have years of customer names, and address and emails. Our customer base is large and loyal. People return to buy upgrades that they bought from us 10 and 20 years ago.
We have home theater systems set up with living room type settings. See the photos. Customers sit on real sofas to enjoy music and movies in living room type settings. We save all demo boxes as shown in photo of our warehouse upstairs, which landlord says we will be able to add space shortly . Most equipment is hooked up and on display for listening and viewing TVs. We don't use racks and switch boxes to demo systems.
