This is a car hauling business that started in August 2010 with a pickup truck and a trailer that hauls 3 cars, together having a value of $20,000 each.
With a lot of dedication and endless hours of work, this seller managed to bring this operation to a total of six trucks: five semitractors with trailers, each of them hauling 7-8 cars that they are using for long-distance trips, and one straight truck hauling 5 cars that we are using for local pickups and deliveries. All this equipment has an approximate value of 600k. The equipment its financed and between 1½ and 3 ½ years will be paid off.
The five semitractors are doing trips from New York, New Jersey, to Dallas, TX and Houston, TX and seasonal trips to Florida. With a logistic office run the owner and his partner they manage to keep their trucks moving so each of them makes between 30 to 35 trips per year. They are loading from the loading boards and also from their own customers, dealers and privates.
Currently, they are renting a parking yard for the trucks inNJ, where there is also a truck shop on the premises that they are using for all the maintenance and repair needs.
