ALMA RAS optimised compressor consumption station by 20%
Best.Energy South East Europe (SEE), in collaboration with the ALMA RAS team, recognised the need to upgrade the compressor station to cut energy costs.
Client Requirements
Due to continuous business improvement and a desire to increase energy efficiency and cut energy costs, the management team at ALME RAS wanted to establish energy monitoring at the facility.
Our Solution
We established energy monitoring at 10 key measurement points and shed light on the facility’s consumption. Despite the already very good alignment of consumption with the facility’s actual needs, the compressors were failing to meet production demands.
Following a detailed analysis and the involvement of experts in the field of compressed air, an existing compressed air tank was installed behind the compressors, thereby reducing consumption by 20%.
