TaxAssist Accountants delivers budget news hot off the press

04 December 2017

On the day of the Autumn Budget, TaxAssist Accountants franchisees and their clients were able to follow a live Twitter commentary and receive a summary highlighting those announcements that will affect small businesses and the self-employed.

On 22nd November, Support Centre staff in Norwich, live tweeted a commentary on the budget on @TaxAssistUK Twitter account, sent out an e-mail newsletter to 47,500 of its clients, as well as producing its Autumn Budget 2017 Summary for Small Business.

The latter was personalised for franchisees’ individual websites, and produced for print and e-publications, enabling franchisees to share with their clients the changes pertinent to their businesses just hours after the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Philip Hammond, delivered his Budget.

James Mattam, Group Business Development Director at TaxAssist Accountants, said: “As has become tradition at TaxAssist Accountants, our Support Centre staff pulled out all the stops to deliver the Budget commentary, ahead of the competition, for the benefit of both the accountants in our network and their clients.

“We are proud of the proactive centralised mailing service we offer to our network, as it allows us to communicate on behalf of franchisees quickly and efficiently, leaving them free to concentrate on running their practices. This is just one of the many business development services we offer our franchisees, as well as one of the many reasons people decide to join our network.”
