29 November 2013

Another day, another award win for TaxAssist Accountants. Phil Sullivan, Network Operations and Finance Director was at The House Of Commons to collect an award on behalf of TaxAssist who won “The Best UK Accountancy Firm Supporting Apprentices”.

Mould-breaking accountancy network TaxAssist Accountants has been crowned Best UK Accountancy Firm Supporting Apprentices by leading national training providers 3aaa.

The awards, hosted by Gordon Birtwistle MP and presented by BBC presenter Chris Evans and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, were held at the House of Commons on Wednesday 20th November and recognise outstanding commitment to Apprenticeships by both employers and learners.

TaxAssist Accountants, which has a network of more than 200 offices across the UK looking after the tax and accountancy needs of more than 47,000 small UK businesses, received the accolade in recognition of their commitment to delivering outstanding Apprenticeship programmes.

“This award is testimony to our accountancy network and their commitment to providing quality training,” said Phil Sullivan Network Operations and Finance Director of TaxAssist Accountants. “Too often young people leave college with no real experience of working life, whereas apprenticeships allow them to train in their chosen career and also gain valuable work experience.”

Andy Palmer, Managing Director of 3aaa said: “The awards are a great opportunity for us to recognise some of our outstanding Apprentices and their employers.  It’s fantastic to hear first hand the experiences of our apprentices and the impact the scheme has had on their lives.”
