Although the city did give me permission, this business falls under the "piano teacher" statutes and gives the home-owner the ability to take advantage of the federal income tax laws which benefit the in-home business owner greatly. The only requirements to be legal is to be certified as a wedding officiant - I will help you do that and to get your food handler certificate which is a class on line and ten bucks.
Being your own boss - you can work as much or as little as you want. i didnt persue off-site events much... but I will train and pass along all my wedding partners including a hotel deal where the wedding guests stay. I have this designed as a one stop shop for flowers, food and overnight. There is a lot of potential for growth by branching out and doing weddings on location. 8am - 8pm by appointment - you work as much as you want. I can perform 6 or 7 elopement ceremonies in one day.
