“Over the last 5 years, I have focused on providing a high-quality lawn care service to my growing customer base. I have made every effort to differentiate my service levels from the major competitors by providing better communication of information about visits, treatments and prompt responses to new and existing customer enquiries. I have also charged what I believe are reasonable prices for these services, certainly not the cheapest. I have won and retained customers in doing this, something that is reflected in my 5-star Google review status.
I have also invested in additional equipment to help improve the efficiency and level of service we provide. I replaced a manual walkover sprayer with an electric sprayer, added a topsoil / dressing roller to improve speed and quality of repairs and purchased a manual sorrel roller so that I can aerate lawns where access is not possible for the large machine.
For the last few years, I have relied on the website, some local leafleting and customer referrals to drive enquiries. Having invested in a second van this year, and significantly increased my capacity, I am planning a targeted marketing campaign for the Spring of 2022 to help acquire additional customers.
