We have been around for over 30 years and with 1 broker and 1 salesperson average between 4 and 7 mil gross per year and probably only work 6 hours per week.
We focus on late-model high-end centre console boats which are easy to sell without much work involved.
Average commission is around 20k with some much higher as these boats can be over 1 mil each.
We average about 3 hours of time on each of these sales sometimes more sometimes even less mostly phone and contract work.
Unless the purchaser is already a yacht broker there will be a training period for a new owner.
I am open to partial owner financing as well as staying on as a partner.
Price is negotiable depending on the deal.
The business could do a lot better if had better staff or management.
I have been running it basically by myself and I'm old and lazy.
