Established in 1987, the company manufactures custom-designed (branded logos) protective covers for the entertainment industry. (Amps / Speakers / Guitars / Studio & Stage Equipment / Drums etc.)
The company founder is a professional musician who has focused primarily on the entertainment industry, selling over 4500 custom-designed protective covers to date. (Current customer base consists of musicians, studio engineers, DJs, and O.E.M (Original Equipment Manufacturer) companies. (Selling directly to end users, retail and wholesale customers).
Each protective cover is designed to provide a secure fit, is lightweight, easy to handle, durable, water and dust-resistant/repellent. We use durable materials in the manufacturing process from a 70 denier nylon/PVC fabric for indoor studio dust protection to a 915 x 1220 denier Cordura®HP fabric for transportable stage and pro audio concert gear.
Each cover is sewn together with trim which gives the covers a distinctive finished appearance. Most gear manufactured today does not include protective slipcovers.
We provide custom-fitted covers with design options with embroidered or DTF (direct-to-film) brand logos.
The current founder is looking to semi-retire and move out of state but is willing to stay on as a sales consultant to help continue to generate sales and nurture and hand over relationships.
Huge opportunity for a new owner to expand this e-commerce, on-demand business into other market verticals.
Business is relocatable. Operation is currently based out of the founder's residential property in Bloomingdale, IL, with 1-external employee. (Residential property is also available for purchase if the new buyer wants to take over this and the business). The external employee is also willing to stay on as needed.
Covers are designed with two high-quality processes: Embroidery or Full-Color heat pressed vinyl media.
There are two ZSK twelve-needle German-manufactured machines. These machines embroider up to 1200 rpm’s and are optimized to not only stitch complex designs to our covers, they have frames for shirts, hats pants, and shoes. The hard drive is loaded with 100’s of customer embroidery files, developed by our designer or contracted to companies specializing in digital technologies.
In addition, the company owns a complete set of embroidery artwork from Dakota Collectibles with over 21,000 ready-to-go designs.
The Roland SP-300V prints high-quality full-color images to different media including vinyl, adhesive, and photo media. Using RIP software from Versaworks® to transfer from vector art software such as Adobe Illustrator® or Coreldraw®, our design department transforms covers into works of art. In addition, we own the Great Dane Graphics StockArt collections 1 through 4 where customers can choose artwork for their protective cover.
