Celebrating 21 years, this business is the longest-living production brewery in the Inland Empire, having first opened in 2003.
This is a small brewery born out of a passion for home brewing and a talent for winning medals at the LA County Fair.
The brewery began expanding as it won countless awards and gained a loyal following.
The brewery began in a tiny warehouse space on 9th Street in Upland.
In 2012 it moved to its current 8,200-square-foot location on Porterfield Way in Upland and added a large taproom, beer garden, and fermentation lab, In 2016, the brothers discovered they could not trademark the name Dale Bros Brewery, so they renamed it as a nod to its roots.
When the brothers first dreamed of opening their brewery as they cooked up homebrewed batches of beer in the 1990s, they had no idea they would end up being pioneers of what would become a thriving craft brewery industry in the area.
Over twenty years later, their enterprise, a venerable granddaddy of the independent craft movement, has been named Best of the Southland in the Los Angeles Times’ 2023 Readers Choice Awards.”
The goal is to find a buyer who shares the same love for craft beer that the company owners have.
We don't know if it will retain its name after the sale, but we hope it is a place with heritage, where people talk about this current iteration in the same way that they talk about the business currently.

This impressive operation is truly turn-key and holds a type 23 license that allows for beer manufacturing and distribution.
