The owner founded the company in 2010 and has now decided to retire. Price: open to offers.
WORK OTHERS WON'T BID
The company fabricates and installs historical copper roofing, custom sheet metal, standing seam, column covers, wall panels, and domes, steeples and minarets. About 95% of work is commercial and institutional and about 98% is self-performed by its own union crews. On complex jobs it is often the only sheet metal bidder, and competitors have asked for its pricing because they could not do the work. Jobs come in at or better than estimate on about 90% of projects.
A TEAM THAT ALREADY RUNS THE WORK
A chief estimator with a 35-year working relationship with the owner prices jobs without owner sign-off and manages projects. A second estimator programs the CNC and draws shop drawings. The superintendent ran a $3M stadium job largely on his own. The office manager, a former 20-year business owner, runs QuickBooks, billing and union reporting and scored 100% on the latest union audit. The owner rates his role as fairly easy for an experienced leader to step into, and is committed to a full, supported transition.
DEMAND AND VISIBILITY
About $5.5M of contracted work remained to bill at September 14, 2026, across 24 jobs, and a multi-million-dollar stadium project is expected to be awarded. Bid invitations arrive daily from general contractors and roofing contractors; the company bills more than 40 contractors a year and has about 70 active relationships. The mix changes with large projects.
GROWTH
Estimating capacity is the main lever: the company turns away bids today. Add one to two estimators, a dedicated business development person, an interior metals division, a water jet, or use the company as a base for trade add-ons.
FACILITY
