Growing the business to where you want it is basically just telling more and more used Appliance
Stores, Laundromats and Service Technicians that you can repair their Control Boards. Once you are
set up and going, you will see other opportunities show up, and normally out of the blue. I used to
supply washing machine parts to the United States Navy and ship them all the way down to the
Persian Gulf because I was there and visible. A very nice gentleman who was on a supply ship in the
Persian Gulf gave me a phone call and I ended up supplying them for an extended period of time and
it was very profitable.
I had quite a few opportunities like this that came along just because I was out there doing business
and the same thing will happen to you. I was contracted by Maytag to train their staff at one point in
time. I was also contracted by General Electric to repair all of their appliances which they had
supplied to the City of Tampa and had delivered into the government housing projects in the city. That
was very, very profitable but again it just happened because I was out there doing business.
Depending on what you want out of your business, whether you want to increase your income on a
part-time basis or a full-time basis, it will work perfectly well on each. Perhaps you're trying to replace
your current income so you don't have to work a regular job, it will definitely do that and will remain
sustainable, and probably more sustainable than the job you are replacing. Perhaps you want to
expand it to a much larger operation, you can do that too.

Competition / Market:

This is a time tested and completely stable business model with longevity. It is a blue-collar business. AI isn't going to take it away from you.

You fix control boards and you get paid, very, very simple. People are always going to need
refrigerators, washers, dryers and dishwashers and so forth and they're not going to do without them.

The Appliance business isn't the most romantic business in the world but it always kept the lights on and put food on the table and actually put all my kids through private school.

customer service whether it be reception work, phone work or something similar, i really highly
recommend you take a look at your position because things are changing rapidly.
