Ingersoll Tractor is a unique all steel, all hydraulic tractor which is manufactured to last! Some of the long term enthusiast pass their older machines on to family members and purchase newer models based on their reliability and quality. Ingersoll offers several attachments making this tractor more versatile than most other lawn and garden tractors.
Ingersoll was founded when Jack Ingersoll bought the small AG division from Case Outdoor Power Equipment Division in 1983. The division traced its roots back to Colt garden tractors in the early 1960s. The business continued to produce garden tractors in Winneconne, Wisconsin using the hydraulic drive systems pioneered by Colt. Then purchased by Eastman Industries in 2005, and production was moved to Portland, Maine in 2006. The manufacturing of tractors continued through to January 2016 when Eastman moved from its location.
