- WILLIAM N. KOBAYASHI: CBI, CSBA, CBC, CMEA/SIA. After a 15-year retail career in merchandising management at a division of Federated partment Stores, Managing Director William N. Kobayashi has established and has owned four businesses including a retail apparel and catalogue operation, which evolved into a leading edge multi-million dollar import-export firm. Bill has also provided COO level consulting services in the areas of sales and marketing, manufacturing and distribution as well as operational and financial management to over 100 companies in the USA, Asia and Canada. He has attended and has degrees from San Jose State University and UCLA, he is a licensed California Real Estate Broker a member of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), the M&A Source, the Institute of Certified Business Counselors (ICBC) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Bill has further enhanced his level of competence in the business intermediary profession by attaining the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) with IBBA and a Diploma in Mergers and Acquisitions from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He is also a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser - Specialist in Insurance Appraisals (CMEA/SIA).
