AmeriStop was founded in 1967. From 1967 to 2000 AmeriStop retail locations were primarily franchisee owned locations with Ohio Valley, AFM as the franchisor. AmeriStop operates three different retail formats under the banners of AmeriStop Market, AmeriStop Express, and AmeriStop Express Drive-Thru.
