The Inn has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere with an ever-changing view of the valley and mountains beyond. When you enter you immediately focus on the huge stacked stone fireplace with a roaring fire. This is a great place to enjoy coffee and conversation on those cool mountain mornings. The leather sofa is extremely comfortable as are the other chairs. No Victorian straight laced furniture here, every seat guarantees comfort. The giant coffee table was made from the base of a large Cypress Tree and the Oak floors gleam. The multi light sconces on either side of the fireplace were rescued from an old Atlanta hotel and refurbished. They add the perfect accent to the room.

The kitchen has a new island stove top, rustic Pine cabinets and shiny stainless and black appliances. The table linens and window treatments are rustic in décor, and exactly what you would expect in a cozy Mountain Lodge. You won’t find simple Continental breakfasts here. What you will find, if you visit, is a home-cooked specialty breakfast with the aroma of flavorful coffee that fills the air. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the dining room, or on the 44 foot covered patio where watching the birds, squirrels and nature is a favorite pastime. The 50 foot open front deck with its mountain and valley views is also available for that morning feast.

Evenings can be spent reading a good book from the Inn’s library in front of a cozy fire, or Guests can stroll outside to the fire-pit to view the stars while enjoying a cozy fire. Do you remember roasting Marshmallows as a youngster, well Marshmallows are always available here.

The Guest rooms are all very comfortably furnished with either King or Queen size beds except for one room which has twin beds in a very unusual arrangement. The suite includes a sitting area, walk-in closet and huge bathroom with whirlpool bathtub, separate shower and double vanities. All Guest rooms have ceiling fans and private baths except for 2 rooms that share a bath. Perfect for family members traveling together.
