Exceptionally well established high volume wholesale fuel distributor has been in business for over 70 years. Company generates revenue in 3 areas.
1) Company owns 8 convenience stores which they lease to operators. Payments run about $14,000 per month. These stores are included in the sale.
2) Gasoline and diesel fuel is supplied to a number of retailers on a consignment basis. They sell the fuel remitting the revenue to the distributor. The retailer is paid a fixed number of cents per gallon sold for their effort.
3) Wholesale fuel (gasoline and diesel) is supplied to another group of customers. Some, but not all, have supply contracts. Pricing and profit margins are determined by the volume of fuel purchased. Fuel is distributed by common carrier, except to farms. For farms a company truck is used.
Company operates in an area that has a heavy agricultural based economy. With
growing agricultural demands, the economy is strong and vibrant. The leased store locations are in small to medium size towns and cities in premium locations. They are in excellent condition and have excellent visibility and appeal. The company uses the “AIMS” automated management information system for the wholesale petroleum distribution industry.
