This franchise sells coffees, espresso, cappuccino, tea, smoothies, muffins, cookies, power bars, nutrition shakes, water, energy drinks, coffee by the pound, cookies, etc. (see menu in file). It is operated full time by the owner plus two part time employees. The hours are ideal and they are opened only Monday through Friday, plus for major events.
Franchise fees and advertising fees are paid on the wholesale purchases of products and are 6 % royalties and 2 % advertising. Again these percentages are on the wholesale purchases of product. There is a point of sale (POS) that is leased with an option to purchase with monthly payments of $227.59 that is to be assumed by Purchaser. The franchise agreement runs for 10 years and there are 8 years remaining on Seller's Franchise Agreement. There is a 4 day training program in Colorado plus several days in Hawaii. The cost to set up this store was over $150,000. In addition, the Seller bought a cart that is used for outside functions primarily on weekends (fairs, festivals, etc.) that may be purchased for an additional $20,000.00.
