What does it take to become a Ben & Jerry’s
franchisee?
- Shared values, passion for the brand, and a
full-time commitment to developing the Ben & Jerry’s
franchise business
- Strong business acumen and the knowledge of how
to build and operate a business
- Two years of management experience at the GM
level or higher in a retail or restaurant business
- A fun, flexible, and enthusiastic personality
with strong leadership skills and a zeal for working with the
public
- An excitement for community involvement and
social responsibility
- A minimum net worth of $350,000, of which
$80,000 must be liquid
Further information:
- Franchisees receive site selection guidance,
design & build expertise, excellent training, and ongoing
support from a field-based operations team.
- Five store models fit almost any real estate
opportunity
- Start-up costs range from $175,000 to
$440,000.
- Our initial franchisee fee is
$32,000.
- The royalty is 3%; the marketing contribution is
4% (2% national/2% local).
