hat will I recieve as part of the HomeGamers
franchise system?
You and your store’s general manager will
have training at our corporate location for up to two weeks. You
will also receive up pre-opening help at your own location, for up
to seven days. You will have access to all HomeGamers trademarks,
approved suppliers, and our exclusive operational tools. And, we'll
provide you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to
help you run your business effectively.
What type of prior experience do I
need to have?
Business management or retail experience is
helpful, and customer service and business management skills are
also important. However, it doesn’t matter what skills or
background you bring to the table. Your enthusiasm and dedication
will be key. And, we will provide the tools and training you need
to run your own HomeGamers business. We do, of course, expect that
you have the right amount of capital to invest in the
franchise.
How much will the HomeGamers
franchise investment cost me?
The estimated required investment ranges from
$286,000 to $528,000. As with any new business venture, it’s
important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your
new business.
Are there ongoing fees paid to the
franchisor?
Franchisees will be required to pay royalties of
5% of revenues. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support
services and the continued development of new products, procedures,
marketing tools, training programs, and systems
upgrades.
Are there any advertising
fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend the greater
of 2% of revenues or $2500 per month on local marketing (your
cooperative mall advertising will be included in this amount).
Franchisees may also contribute up to 1% of gross revenues toward a
system marketing fund. These funds are used to develop marketing
strategies to promote the HomeGamers brand and fund the creative
costs to develop local franchise marketing materials.
Is financing
available?
No, we do not offer direct financing to
franchisees. However, we want to help you with your financing
needs, and we can provide references to qualified financing or
lending agencies, such as the SBA and other local banks.
What is the term of the franchise
agreement?
The initial term of your HomeGamers franchise
agreement is ten years, with two subsequent five-year renewal
terms.
