This business model is based on contracts with hotel establishments for the processing of associates uniforms, guest laundry and banquet and rooms misc. dry cleaning and laundry. The company is responsible to pick up the items, process them and return them in a timely fashion. The operation is a six day service and closed on national holidays. The hotel ownership receives a commission from the company on the guest generated revenue. That commission differs from hotel to hotel. The company as part of the agreement processes executive member laundry once a week at no charge. Hotels generally pay with a business credit card weekly and a few pay with a 30 day check run. Currently the company splits the revenue with the sub contractor and pays them weekly. ( only two sub contractors). Don't Miss it!
The potential for growth, given that it is practical, is un-unlimited. Hotel properties are always looking for better service and a more lucrative cost package. Soliciting hotels is open and with the credibility of the current accounts, more hotel contracts are a strong advantage.
Competition in this field is very limited. Only a handful of companies in the DC metro area are involved or have major contracts. So adding accounts to the company profile is not a hard task.
