This full service grocery store started out over 20 years ago as a Piggly Wiggly in the 60's. It has operated for the past twenty years under the same name with the present owner running it for 10 years. They place a special emphasis of the meat prices which are very competitive. There is a part time butcher who takes care of the meat cutting. It is basically a neighborhood store, featuring those items that their customers prefer. It is designed as a quick in and out store. Prices range between those of the big chain stores and convenience stores. The location of the store, the size of the store, providing everything people need in that neighborhood , accepting food stamps and WIC and outstanding meat values are the chief assets of this business.
This is NOT a convenience store but rather a neighborhood grocery store.
